Numintec
Numintec is a fast-growing telecom company owned by the Swedish group Telavox that provides communication services to medium and large-sized companies in Europe and South America. With a strong suite of contact center web products, Numintec is a leading provider in its sector.
Project Overview
Numintec had 15+ projects on its roadmap and needed to double its IT team to keep up with the demand. They kept their core backend developers in-house and outsourced with Codewow a new frontend team, along with designers, DevOps, and a QA team.
As they focus on contact center SaaS products, their service must work 24/7 with no disruptions.
Requirements
- Design a new and modern UX/UI for all the new products in the pipeline
- Redesign the existing products to fit into the new designs
- Rebuild and improve all existing frontend products with modern technologies getting rid of any legacy roadblocks
- Create more than 15 new products’ frontend from scratch
- Unificate all products under the same platform with a unique user account
- Keep all services 100% uptime

The team
After understanding Numintec’s projects and defining the technologies to be used, Codewow assembled a Senior Frontend Development Team using our 400+ in-house professionals, along with DevOps specialists, UX/UI designers, a QA team, and a Project Manager to manage the project and lead the new team.
Robust infrastructure
A dedicated cross-account infrastructure in AWS was created for Numintec. This ensured that our 3 environments (development, staging, and production) were completely isolated from each other and guaranteed selective restricted access for each team member.
For consistent infrastructure among all projects, all resources were created with AWS CloudFormation, and the deployments between environments were automated using AWS CodeBuild and CodePipeline.
Design
Our UX/UI designers created wireframes for all the necessary interfaces based on Numintec’s requirements. After approval, we developed high-fidelity mockups ready to be implemented by the frontend team.
Development
The team was completely managed internally by Codewow taking all the weight off Numintec management team. We used the SCRUM agile methodology to deliver incremental updates of each project based on Numintec’s priorities.

Quality Assurance
Our QA team defined, documented, and executed all testing routines for each project to ensure each update was fully functional.
The team tested every single new feature developed daily and ran complex regression tests before each update to ensure that previous functionalities were not affected by the new version.

Numintec received multiple awards for its platform, including the Best Technological Innovation Award from Executive Magazine, and was listed as the TOP 10 contact center providers in Europe.
Conclusion
Numintec gradually expanded its outsourced team with us, and during our 6 years of close partnership, we successfully developed a total of 18 projects for them.
